Hello friends,
Here we're on our last week at Leprechauns Land.
My feelings are so strange because I'm missing my house and my loves. In the other hand, I want to spend more time here.
But that is the life!! No problem. We could enjoy all we could.
Let's go to the day's post:
I had never seen another people with more superstitious beliefs as Irish is.
You can see it clearly in the movie Leap Year...
By the Irish Traditions, in 29th February the man is obrigated to accept the marriage proposal. That's because St. Bridget complained to St. Patrick that the women had have to wait a lot until her man take the decision.
According to legend, St. Patrick said that the women could do so, however, only on the 29th February.
Stories told that in the V century, in some europeans countries, the man who wouldn't accept the proposal, would pay a penalty. The tradition was changed with the years passed, but in Ireland a lot of girls waiting anxiously this date.
Is the date to take that iniciative and do the proposal if your boyfriend doesn't do it yet.
You can keep seeing others superstitions in the video below:
I hope you don't mind this english post. Is one way to improve the language as well. Although I have sure that all our friends can read it.
Kisses and hugs for all
